Information – Change to the schedule for external assessment tests
Amendment to the external assessment calendar, updating the deadlines for displaying results for the 1st phase and the general schedule for the 2nd phase of the national upper-secondary education examinations and the final cycle examinations for basic education 2025/2026.
Expression of interest in collaborating with EduQA on a time-sharing basis.
It is hereby informed that the Institute of Education, Quality and Evaluation, IP (EduQA. IP), seeks the collaboration of 15 (fifteen) teachers on a part-time basis, in the promotion and monitoring of educational projects and programs.
The lists of schools supported by the "10 Minutes to Read" and "Reading Clubs" projects for 2026-2027 have been released.
The lists of schools supported by the projects “10 Minutes to Read” and “Book Clubs” for the school year 2026-2027 are now available. The application period ran from 8 May to 8 June 2026.
Conference “Human Rights and Disinformation – Education as a response to manipulation”
The National Commission for UNESCO, in partnership with the Loures City Council, held a conference in Loures on 19 June entitled "Human Rights and Disinformation – Education as a Response to Manipulation".

Following the statement from JNE/EduQA, published last Thursday, 25 June, regarding the marking process for national examinations - which highlighted some constraints in the schedule - and considering issues that have since come to the attention of the JNE services, EduQA, through the National Examination Board, provides the following clarifications:
Closing event of the project “Improving the quality of early childhood education and care through strengthened governance, monitoring and evaluation” (Bulgaria and Portugal)
On 26 June, at Iscte – University Institute of Lisbon, the closing event of the multinational project (Bulgaria and Portugal) “Improving the quality of early childhood education and care through strengthened governance, monitoring and evaluation” will take place, with the possibility of participation online.
