Programming of the National Reading Plan at the Porto Book Fair 2026

The National Reading Plan will be present, for the second consecutive year, at the Porto Book Fair 2026.

Between September 4th and 6th, from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM, we will be in the gardens of the Crystal Palace with a program for readers of all ages and many books.

On Friday, September 4th, we will be hosting a workshop for families: we will share strategies for selecting books, making them even more accessible in everyday life, and promoting moments of reading and discovery as a family.

On Saturday and Sunday, September 5th and 6th, the Reading Clinic returns, a space for personalized service – individual, group or family – where the reader profile of the person being served is discussed and reading suggestions are made according to that profile.

We are counting on everyone's presence.

The Institute of Education, Quality and Evaluation, IP (EduQA) has established a partnership with the Polytechnic Institute of Viana do Castelo for Teacher Training – Creativity and Critical Thinking. Anabela Serrão, a member of the EduQA Board of Directors, participated in the opening ceremony.
