Frequently Asked Questions
In this section we have compiled answers to the most common questions about the creation of EduQA, IP and the transition process of the organizations that now comprise it.
EduQA, IP is the public body responsible for the quality of education, curriculum development, and external assessment of learning in the Portuguese education system.
The responsibilities previously ensured by IAVE, DGE, ANQEP (within the scope of dual certification for young people and qualification for adults), the Mission Structure of the National Reading Plan, and the Coordinating Office of the School Libraries Network have been integrated into EduQA.

The websites of the previously existing entities will remain available during the transition period. However, EduQA, IP will become the entity responsible for their respective functions.
