The draft legislation that makes the second amendment to the legal framework for inclusive education, approved by Decree-Law No. 54/2018 of 6 July, is currently open for public consultation.

It is hereby informed that the Institute of Education, Quality and Evaluation, IP (EduQA. IP), seeks the collaboration of 15 (fifteen) teachers on a part-time basis, in the promotion and monitoring of educational projects and programs.

The lists of schools supported by the projects “10 Minutes to Read” and “Book Clubs” for the school year 2026-2027 are now available. The application period ran from 8 May to 8 June 2026.

The National Commission for UNESCO, in partnership with the Loures City Council, held a conference in Loures on 19 June entitled "Human Rights and Disinformation – Education as a Response to Manipulation".

Following the statement from JNE/EduQA, published last Thursday, 25 June, regarding the marking process for national examinations - which highlighted some constraints in the schedule - and considering issues that have since come to the attention of the JNE services, EduQA, through the National Examination Board, provides the following clarifications:

On 26 June, at Iscte – University Institute of Lisbon, the closing event of the multinational project (Bulgaria and Portugal) “Improving the quality of early childhood education and care through strengthened governance, monitoring and evaluation” will take place, with the possibility of participation online.

Given the delays observed in the national exam grading process, EduQA, through the National Examination Board, wishes to provide the following clarifications:
