The lists of schools supported by the projects “10 Minutes to Read” and “Book Clubs” for the school year 2026-2027 are now available. The application period ran from 8 May to 8 June 2026.
Promoted by the National Reading Plan, a unit of the Reading Promotion Department of EduQA, IP, the projects 10 Minutes to Read and Book Clubs aim is to encourage reading for pleasure and reinforce motivation for independent reading, according to the interests and skill levels of the readers.
The project 10 Minutes to Read It challenges schools to integrate daily reading moments into their routine, with the involvement of the entire educational community. Reading clubs, on the other hand, provide spaces for people to meet, share and reflect on books, and help to develop children’s and young people’s reading skills and critical thinking.
As an educational and community space, the school plays a key role in promoting reading habits and developing the reading skills of all pupils, thereby helping to shape more engaged, informed and critical citizens.
