Five collections of tasks applied in pilot classes in the subjects of Mathematics A and Professional Courses, and three supporting brochures

Five more sets of assignments are now available for classes that, in the 2024/2025 school year, anticipated the application of the Essential Learning Objectives (ELO) in Mathematics A and Mathematics for Professional Courses:

  • Complex Numbers – year 12 in Mathematics A
  • Probability – year 12 in Mathematics A
  • Exponential and Logarithmic Functions – year 12 Mathematics A
  • Project Work – year 11
  • OP16 – Labor Mathematics - Professional Courses

They are also available three brochures support:

  • Matrices for Upper-Secondary Education
  • Immediate Primitives and Definite Integrals
  • Preparation items for the external Mathematics A assessment.

The Collections of Tasks are resources which, having been tested in real classroom settings, can support teachers in selecting and planning tasks that facilitate the implementation of the curriculum’s innovative ideas, promoting pupils’ engagement in meaningful mathematical activities and contributing to a comprehensive and up-to-date mathematical education.

The booklet “Preparation items for the external Mathematics A assessment” presents a selection of items used in the assessment of the pilot classes in Mathematics A. These items fall within the typology defined by the IAVE for the 2026 National Examinations, focusing on the mathematical topics and content of the Mathematics A subject that will be assessed in the National Examination, which differ between the 2018 and 2023 External Assessments.

EduQA collaborates with the OECD in conducting the PISA-VET Cognitive Laboratory in the field of automotive mechatronics.

Approximately 30 final-year students from the level 4 Automotive Mechatronics Technician vocational course, from five school clusters and vocational schools, participated in an assessment task within the framework of the Programme for International Student Assessment – Vocational Education and Training (PISA-VET), of the Organisation for Human Development and Employment (OIE).
