Bilingual Schools Programme in English (PEBI) | Applications open 2026/2027

The Institute of Education, Quality and Evaluation, IP (EduQA, IP) has opened the application process for the PEBI program for public and private education establishments, based in mainland Portugal or abroad, which only teach the Portuguese curriculum, do not yet belong to the Program and intend to implement it in 2026/2027.

The application to be submitted must have the approval of the management and administration bodies of the educational establishments.

Rescheduling of ModA Portuguese Exams

The ModA tests for Portuguese (61), Portuguese as a Second Language (62), Portuguese as a Non-Native Language A2 (63) and Portuguese as a Non-Native Language B1 (64), which were not held on June 3, have been rescheduled for June 9.
