The Portuguese Securities Market Commission (CMVM) is participating, for the tenth consecutive year, in World Investor Week (WIW), a global initiative of the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO) that takes place between October 1st and 9th in more than 130 jurisdictions.
World Investor Week in Portugal involves the participation of twelve partners, who are promoting initiatives dedicated to financial literacy.
Among the activities, the second edition of the Financial Literacy Course stands out, taking place throughout this period and including six thematic sessions dedicated to the capital market, retirement preparation, financial innovation, the role of schools in financial education, women's investment, and financial scams and frauds.
The sessions are free and can be attended in person at the CMVM auditorium, or online, and a certificate of participation will be issued to those who attend the sessions. Therefore, the Portuguese Securities Market Commission (CMVM) and the Institute of Education, Quality and Evaluation, IP (EduQA, IP), invite school principals and teachers to join World Investor Week by participating, in particular, in the Financial Literacy course dedicated to the role of schools in financial education, which will take place on October 7th, between 5 pm and 6:30 pm.
Registration is done through the form available at www.smiportugal.pt, where you must indicate your preferred participation category.

The CMVM invites everyone to participate in this initiative and deepen their financial knowledge.
