The ebook ”"Voices that Protect" was recently presented at the VII International Congress on Risks, held at the University of Coimbra, and is available for free download.
This collaborative initiative brings together a collection of interviews with national experts from different areas related to civil protection, security, and risk education. The collection includes contributions from civil protection agents, university professors, and other professionals with recognized experience in the fields covered, providing a diverse, rigorous, and up-to-date perspective on the challenges of prevention and security.
Each interview was designed in the format of videocast, with the aim of enriching the learning experience through the integration of image and sound. The interviews are accompanied by a set of didactic activities, designed to promote reflection, the consolidation of learning and the development of skills in the field of risk education.
It can be explored independently by students, but it can also be a relevant educational resource for teachers, as a tool to facilitate the approach to these themes in the Citizenship and Development subject, as well as in others where risk education proves relevant.
