Rescheduling of ModA Portuguese Examinations

The ModA tests for Portuguese (61), Portuguese as a Second Language (62), Portuguese as a Non-Native Language A2 (63) and Portuguese as a Non-Native Language B1 (64), which were not held on 3 June, have been rescheduled for 9 June.

Schools with students who did not take the aforementioned tests must notify their respective JNE (National Examination Board) group via email of the rescheduling of the tests, indicating the expected number of students affected.

Access to the examinations must be done using the credentials already assigned to each student.

ubbu: project to teach programming and computational thinking will be available again in 2026/2027

Ubbu is an online platform with the social mission of preparing all children for the new digital society through the teaching of Computer Science and Programming. It aims to contribute to positioning Portugal at the forefront of the development of computational thinking and digital literacy among students in the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd cycles of Basic Education in public schools. In 2026/2027, the platform will reinforce the content of Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity, broadening the scope of digital literacy worked on in the classroom.

EduQA supported Cape Verde in the implementation of PISA for Schools.

EduQA, PI, a Portuguese entity accredited by the OECD for the implementation of PISA for Schools, provided technical support to the Ministry of Education of Cape Verde in the application of this international assessment in all Cape Verdean secondary schools.
