EduQA establishes training partnership with the Polytechnic Institute of Viana do Castelo.
The Institute of Education, Quality and Evaluation, IP (EduQA) has established a partnership with the Polytechnic Institute of Viana do Castelo for Teacher Training – Creativity and Critical Thinking. Anabela Serrão, a member of the EduQA Board of Directors, participated in the opening ceremony.
This collaboration marks the start of the Professional Development Program: Training for Teacher Trainers – Creativity and Critical Thinking, a micro-accredited training program aimed at strengthening essential skills in teacher training, with a special focus on the areas of science and mathematics, and with trainers from the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).
More than just a training activity, the program constitutes an innovative model for the dissemination of skills, promoting the pedagogical use of international benchmarks within the scope of the PISA for Schools project, which is being implemented in Portugal by EduQA in 150 schools.

Extension of the deadline for the public invitation to express interest in serving on the Board of Directors of EduQA, IP.
For the purposes of the provisions of paragraph 2 of Article 7 of the Organic Law of EduQA, IP, approved by Decree-Law No. 105/2025, of September 12, and under the provisions of subparagraph a) of Article 13, the General Council invited individuals whose profile complies with the provisions of paragraph 1 of Article 7 of the same decree to express their interest in performing functions on the Board of Directors of EduQA, IP.
