For two days (October 21 and 22), the most emblematic annual event of the Electronic Platform for Adult Education in Europe (EPALE) will discuss, with renowned experts, how skills can help shape a fairer and more resilient Europe.
The first day will be dedicated to skills for quality jobs and equal opportunities, with interventions focused on the recognition and portability of skills across borders. This day will also bring to the debate skills improvement and retraining, as decisive factors for all adults to be able to cope with the transformations generated by Artificial Intelligence and automation.
The second day will focus on skills for resilience, participation, and democracy, providing an opportunity to delve deeper into the need to strengthen civic skills, critical thinking, and participation in democratic life, particularly through digital literacy and community-based approaches.
This conference will take place in a hybrid format, from Brussels, but everyone is invited to follow the plenary sessions online , completely free of charge, through EPALE and its social media channels.
