List of entities with extended accreditation as Resource Centres for Inclusion (CRI) for the 2026/2027 school year

Logótipo "Educação Inclusiva - Um caminho, um compromisso".

EduQA informs you that the accreditation of the Resource Centres for Inclusion (CRI) has been extended, ensuring the continuity of their intervention and the stability of the responses provided to schools, children and students, families and educational communities.

This decision falls within the current process of revising Decree-Law No. 54/2018, of 6 July, which establishes the legal framework for inclusive education. Within the scope of this legislative review, the creation of a specific decree is planned to regulate, in a specific manner, the operation, organisation, accreditation, and intervention of Resource Centres for Inclusion.

In this context, it was considered that launching a new application procedure for CRI accreditation, before the approval of the new regulatory framework, could result in the application of criteria and requirements that are likely to change in the near future.

The extension of accreditation therefore ensures the continuity of the CRI's activity, while ensuring the stability of the system during the legislative transition period and avoiding administrative procedures that could prove inappropriate considering the new legal framework.
