Itinerary of the Mines and Points of Mining and Geological Interest in Portugal

The Route of Mines and Points of Mining and Geological Interest in Portugal, developed by the Directorate-General for Energy and Geology (DGEG), EDM – Empresa de Desenvolvimento Mineiro (Mining Development Company), and 46 other entities, aims to strengthen the dissemination of scientific knowledge in the areas of geology and mining activity.

Through the various platforms where it is present, the Itinerary promotes visits to the different locations integrated into the initiative, highlighting the role of educational services in valuing and interpreting these spaces.
