Given the delays observed in the National Examination marking process, EduQA, through the National Examination Board, wishes to provide the following clarifications:
1. The digital marking process for national examinations, being a new and large-scale process at the national level, naturally involves several challenges in the area of logistics, as well as in the technological aspect of the process;
2. Bearing these challenges in mind, Regulation 03/JNE defined a sufficiently flexible marking calendar to accommodate any difficulties and contingencies in the process, to ensure the completion of the national examination marking process with the highest quality and without compromising the deadlines set for the publication of results;
3. Therefore, taking into account the existence of some technical difficulties, which are currently being resolved, the JNE (National Examination Board) decided to change the schedule of the marking process, continuing to esure an equal classification period for all examination codes, maintaining the final classification deadline on 10 July;
4. However, the JNE will gradually deliver the responses to the teachers responsible for marking them, as they are processed;
5. The National Examination Board (JNE) will inform all teachers involved in the marking process of this decision through its regional groups, and thanks them in advance for their usual professionalism and competence.
