The ocean has professions you can't even imagine: scientific divers, renewable marine energy engineers, deep-sea biologists, maritime law lawyers, ROV pilots, blue biotechnology researchers, underwater archaeologists…

Real professions, with a future, waiting for someone to tell their stories.

The 6th edition of the Mário Ruivo Prize - Oceanic Generations challenges young people from all over the country to discover this universe and give it a voice through cinema.

A tribute to the legacy of Professor Mário Ruivo and the role of the Ocean in our society, told by the generation that will build its future.

If you are between 14 and 21 years old and passionate about the ocean, this contest is for you!

Create a film of up to 7 minutes and tell us about the ocean and maritime professions.

Apply by September 30th and you could win up to €2,000.
