"Giants of the Sea" is a lecture organised by AIMM – Marine Environment Research Association, which presents the diversity and importance of cetaceans in different regions of the Atlantic.

Through real-world examples from fieldwork, aspects of the biology, behaviour, and social organisation of these species are presented, as well as the main threats they face.

The session also highlights the role of scientific research in its conservation, bringing the public closer to the ocean and promoting greater environmental awareness. A journey through the fascinating world of the ocean's largest inhabitants.

This webinar is aimed at students in the 1st and 2nd cycles of basic education.

National PISA for Schools Seminar highlights the role of data in improving learning.

The Caldas da Rainha Cultural and Congress Center hosted the National PISA for Schools Seminar on July 8th, promoted by the Institute for Education, Quality and Evaluation (EduQA). The event brought together around 300 participants, including OECD representatives, researchers, school principals, municipal and intermunicipal officials, teachers, and education specialists, to reflect on the potential of educational data in improving learning and building more sustainable educational policies.

The final party of the Kids Voting event celebrated books, reading, and civic participation.

On 28 May, the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation hosted the closing ceremony of the 2025-2026 edition of "Kids Vote," an initiative promoted by the School Libraries Network that, for the tenth consecutive year, challenged children and young people from all over the country to choose their favourite books.
