EduQA's General Council begins its activities and elects its president.

The General Council of EduQA, IP held its first meeting on March 23rd at EduQA Rio, marking the start of this body's activity, which plays a central role in the institute's strategic direction.

The members of the General Council, appointed by Resolution of the Council of Ministers No. 46/2026, On February 26th, participants attended the inaugural session, whose agenda included the presentation of EduQA, an overview of the General Council's responsibilities, and the election of its president.

As a strategic advisory body, the General Council monitors EduQA's activities and contributes to defining the general lines of action, in alignment with the institute's mission.

During the meeting, Rodrigo Eiró de Queiroz e Melo was elected President of the General Council, representing the Association of Private and Cooperative Educational Establishments (AEEP).
