The General Council of EduQA, I.P. held its inaugural meeting on 23 March at EduQA Rio, marking the commencement of activities for this body, which plays a central role in the strategic direction of the institute.
The members of the General Council, appointed by Council of Ministers Resolution no. 46/2026of 26 February, attended the inaugural session. The agenda included an introduction to EduQA, an overview of the General Council’s responsibilities, and the election of its president.
As a strategic advisory body, the General Council monitors EduQA’s activities and contributes to defining its overall strategic direction, in alignment with the institute’s mission.
During the meeting, Rodrigo Eiró de Queiroz e Melo, representing the Association of Private and Cooperative Education Establishments (AEEP), was elected Chair of the General Council.
