Public consultation | Review of Key Learnings

The proposed revision of the Essential Learning Outcomes for basic and secondary education is currently open for public consultation.

This process is the result of work developed throughout 2025, with the participation of professional associations, scientific societies and experts, and is now being made available by EduQA for consultation by interested parties.

The revision aims to reinforce the clarity, coherence, and guiding nature of the Essential Learnings, integrating the experience of implementation in schools.

Among the main changes, the following stand out: the harmonization of documents, the clarification of the evaluation process with the introduction of performance descriptors, and the link with Citizenship and Development.
