The ocean has professions you can't even imagine: Scientific divers. Renewable marine energy engineers. Deep-sea biologists. Law of the Sea lawyers. ROV pilots. Blue biotechnology researchers. Underwater archaeologists\u2026<\/p>\n

Real professions, with a future, waiting for someone to tell their stories.<\/p>\n

The 6th edition of the M\u00e1rio Ruivo Prize - Oceanic Generations challenges young people from all over the country to discover this universe and give it a voice through cinema.<\/p>\n

A tribute to the legacy of Professor M\u00e1rio Ruivo and the role of the Ocean in our society, told by the generation that will build its future.<\/p>\n

If you are between 14 and 21 years old and passionate about the ocean, this contest is for you!<\/p>\n

Create a film of up to 7 minutes and tell us about the ocean and maritime professions.<\/p>\n

Apply by September 30th and you could win up to \u20ac2,000.<\/p>\n
